Mining operates six coal mines that supply feedstock for our Secunda ( Synfuels) and burg (burg Operations) complexes in South Africa. While the coal we supply to Synfuels is mainly used as gasifiion feedstock, some is used to generate electricity. The coal we supply to the burg Operations is used to generate electricity and steam. We also export coal .
